Stampin' Up! Convention 2012 - Mainz, Germany

Hello everyone, I bet you've been wondering where I've been haven't you? well let me update you.... although I haven't been on blogland for over a week I have been busy. I attended the annual European Stampin' Up! convention which was held in Mainz, Germany. It was awesome and we all had so much fun, my sides still hurt from all the laughing!!
One of the main things I love about convention is meeting old friends and making new ones too - it really is such a friendly atmosphere and the rooms are filled with such inspirational people! On Thursday night we went to the registration desk and received our wonderful name badge and chevron Convention bag, which had 2 "free" clear stamps sets inside: 1- Affection Collection, 2 - Daydream Medallion.

Myself and a few Pinkie Demonstrators (Pink Ladies/Lads) complete with our distinctive SU fabric bags taking everything in and wandering around the inspirational display boards!

My Pinkie swaps - Paper snip holders

In typical Stampin' Up! style, whenever any demonstrators get together we make swaps. That can be in the form of 3-D projects or card fronts, so if we make 10 we get 10 different swaps back using all current product. We can then share these with our customers and fellow demonstrators. So, here are my Pinkie swaps (22 of them) Paper snips holders...

I used the following SU product:Die - Petal Cone Bigz L
DSP - Orchard Harvest 12x12" designer series paper
Accents - Naturals Designer Buttons, Designer Buttons brushed bronze, large Pearl Basic Jewels,
White Bakers Twine
Punch - Jewelry Tag
Stamp - Ting Tags
Card stock - Whisper White

My 100 General swaps - tea bag holder

SU product used:
Card stock - Island Indigo, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake
Stamp - Morning Cup
Ink - Island Indigo
Aqua Painter
Punches - Decorative label, Oval XL, Word Window
Chamomile Tea bag from local shop.

Here is a close up of the tea bag holder. I had some very lovely comments and feedback on my swap, but I'd love to hear what you think, so please leave me a comment - it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!! :)

Here is some exciting news.... I really do love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, so during the month of November and December 2012 I am looking to increase my lovely team of demonstrators. I have set myself a personal goal of 6 recruits before Christmas. I know so many lovely people around the UK and I am sure some of you will know someone that would love to run their own business, from home, either part
or full time, working in the crafting industry. So I am introducing my "Refer-a-Friend" scheme. Put someone in touch with me who (with their permission) you think would be interested in joining Stampin' Up! If they join my team or are new and make a purchase from me, then I will send YOU a personal gift. I am able to recruit in the UK, France, Germany, Austria and Holland now - so that broadens the horizon. What do you think? Can YOU think of someone?

I shall be back with more pictures from convention in a few days, so do pop back again :)

Thank you for stopping by today,
Luv Lynne
