Lynne Fahey's Stampin' Up! Crafting space...

Well hello and welcome to my blog. Today it is pouring with rain outside and doesn't look like it's going to stop... but it's a perfect day to stay inside and craft!!

I've seen some absolutely amazing, stunning, fully kitted out and custom-made craft spaces over the years and I would love to say I have one of these too... but no, I don't. And you may think that you need a dedicated craft room to make all your wonderful crafty creations, and again I say no!

However, the space I have is my own little piece of crafty heaven... it's a small triangle of (well utilised) space under my stairs (well if it's good enough for like Harry Potter!!) and it works just fine for me. I have everything to hand and on show so I can reach out and use it, otherwise if it's put away in drawers or boxes I forget I have it!!

This is how it used to look like before I revamped it a few months ago... come and have a look!
As you can see from the pictures above, it's a very compact space, and as it's not a room I can't shut the door to it needs to be tidy. You can see my two seater sofa I get to relax on in the bottom right picture and how close it is to my craft desk.

And this is the picture of it now.... after the new shelves were added to house the stamps sets upright and not laying down!

You can see my stamp sets, cardstock, ink pads, punches, framelits/dies, re-inkers and tins with finished cards in. I adore my little space and love that I can sit at my desk and create for as little or as long as time will allow. And the lighting is brilliant, day or night, summer or winter!

It didn't always look like this streamlined due to limited space, but I've always made it work for me at that time...

I would love to see your crafty spaces, please do share them with me, and why not leave me a comment, I love to read them (they make me all warm and fuzzy!!)

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon.
