Lynne's Crafty Day event held on 8th April 2017 - Stampin' Up! #NotOnStage

Hello lovely blog friends and followers, I bet you wondered where I'd got to as I haven't updated for a bit but I've been a bit busy behind the scenes.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to attend the Stampin' Up! OnStage event in Amsterdam this month. It was the very first time I haven't been able to go to a Stampin' Up! #OnStage event in the six and a half years I've been a Demonstrator - and I was gutted. So a month before the event would have been happening in Holland I decided to organise my own small #NotOnStage event for my fellow team mates in the "Pinkie's" to come to mine and have a fun day of crafting, chatting, eating and laughing!

Warning - grab a cuppa as there are quite a lot of pictures :) x

Here are the 3 projects I got them to make during their time with me on the day. I kept them simple, and easy to recreate, and the ladies loved each one for different reasons. Come and have a look....

All of the above projects had stamping, and die cutting, and it kept them all busy for a while but still able to have a good old chat with new and existing demo's. And by the end of the day we all knew each other and had a wonderful time.

The lovely Kelly from Stampin' Up!'s Head Office came along as a spur of the moment decision due to the fact she was due in 4 weeks and wasn't able to attend Amsterdam either. It was so lovely of her to take time out to join us, she even managed to spend some time crafting.
An overview of the room with everyone busy creating and mingling.
I made sure every table had sweets, because you always need a sugar fix whilst crafting don't you! And brightened up with a lovely Pink Plant.
I had also promised to bring along tea/coffee/milk and cakes, so I was up really early in the morning to ensure I got time to make them.
Here are a few of the lovely ladies who came early to help me set up (including Baz who was taking this picture) and I couldn't have done it without you. And to everyone who stayed afterwards to help me pack up, thanks so much, it made such a difference!
Kelly doing a spot of crafting with bump!
A few of us "swapping", I love this part of the day when we get to share a little creation we've made.
Tara and Sue die cutting the tools from "Build it" and "Nailed it" to make the Father's Day tool belt card.
And here's the lovely Baz wearing her Stampin' Up! special edition apron as promised - love it!
A selection of samples people had brought in to share ideas, and I was blown away by the different styles and techniques used. I shall be "CASE'ing" (Copy And Share Everything) a few of these and crediting the relevant people.
And finally, here is the "swap" table with all the swaps I had been given from all who wanted to take part - thank you ladies, I love them so much!

I truly had a wonderful day spending my first #NotOnStage with you all. Thank you for making the day a special, fun and memorable one!
