Scrapbook page using Flirtatious Specialty DSP

Happy Tuesday everyone! How are you doing today??

I had a busy, but lovely weekend. I spent Saturday with my Mum, out shopping and generally milling about in the glorious sunshine. And on Sunday I spent the day creating something special using the gorgeous Stampin' Up! fabric (which I'll share with you soon) whilst watching the Olympics on TV... what a great way to spend the day, creating and chilling out... I loved it!

Anyway, back to what I am sharing with you today....

This was inspired by a page Michelle Last made from a post she had seen on Pinterest... so thanks to whoever originally posted it, it helped me create a scrapbook page I would never have done otherwise!
Everything I used is from Stampin' Up!. I am loving the brightness and vibrancy... makes me smile every time I look at it, and it is now framed and up on my wall for all to see... (I need to take a picture and show you, don't I)
I used the "For My Family" stamp set to add the labels on each picture to show who's who.
And I created embellishments using buttons, brads, punches and Big Shot dies...

I love this so much, I think I will make another one of these layouts in a few years time to document how we've all changed....

Stampin' Up! items used:
DSP Paper - 12 x 12" "Flirtatious Specialty"
12x12" Card stock - Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo, Baja Breeze and Whisper White, and "Brights" 12x12" Paper Stack.
Ink - Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo,
Punches - Boho Blossom, leaf from Bird Builder,Doily Triple Layer, scallop trim border.
Embosslits - Beautiful Wings,
Dies - Timeless Type Junior Alphabet dies, Flower Daisies #2, Circles #2.
Accents - Flower brads, bright buttons, Basic Rhinestones, Basic Pearls, Designer Printed Brads

I really do love this page, and as a very new scrapbooker it was really easy to make.... the hardest part for me was deciding on which pictures and colours to use!! Why not give it a go too? If you would like me to order any of the items, please contact me,  I can even have them sent directly to you if you aren't local to me.

Thank you for stopping by, look forward to seeing you again!
