Birthday Card using Artistic Etchings....

Hello again lovely blog friends and new followers - lovely to see you!

Well, it's been a busy few weeks, what with work, card classes and gallivanting all over the place at weekends to attend and craft at some wonderful Stampin' Up! Demonstrators events... I've had a blast!! Thank you Julie, Amanda and Michelle for having me at your sessions.....

So, a while back I was asked to make a birthday card for someone who was into travelling and photography... so I delved into my Stampin' UP! stash (and some non SU stash too) to create this card.
Firstly, I grabbed for the Artistic Etchings stamp set for the Eiffel Tower, as this guy loves to travel. I then used a border punch to create a film strip look....(sadly SU have retired this now, but I still love this punch) and my 1 3/8" square punch.
Once stamped, I wanted to create some depth so I used the Crystal Effects, laid it flat and left it overnight to well and truly dry... and I love how it turned out.
And I stamped inside and envelope too. I am really pleased with how this came together, and the recipient loved it - phew!

Card - Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Basic Black
Punch - 1 3/8" square punch
Ink - Basic Black
Other - Crystal Effects

It's nearly Friday - yay! and that means I am not rushing around anywhere this weekend so I get to do some crafting and playing at home, I can't wait! So tune in again next week to see what I got up to!!

Thanks for stopping by today,
Luv Lynne
