It's Wednesday and I am still keeping up with posting everyday.... I wonder how long I can keep this up?! ;)
Here is a card I made a short while ago, but just hadn't got around to posting it until now... I used some wonderful 12"x12" scrapbook paper a lovely, generous friend gave to me, and I knew instantly that I wanted to make a very special card with it as it screamed "Classy"!
I made some flowers from the paper and dunked them (a very technical term!!) in melted embossing powder. I made two flowers with the lighter coloured paper (they turned out greenish, but I think that adds to the tones) and one flower in the brown. A little tip, they do turn out darker than the original colour in the paper but I think that it gives a complimentary tone.
I used my nestabilities to cut out the apperture that fitted in the phrase beautifully. It's a very simple yet very effective card. I'm chuffed to bits with how it turned out and have had some lovely comments when people have seen it in the flesh.
