Milton with Christmas Stocking.... Airbrushed

Have I told you how much I love my Promarkers lately?!! well, I really do, and when I was offered an airbrush tool to test out with the Promarkers I jumped at the chance!
I am not an expert in colouring in, and I am always open to suggestions to improve, but I got the hang of using the Letrajet Air Marker quite quickly and you'll see my progress in the pictures below.

Card No 1: Background Airbrushed
You'll see from the picture below the I only airbrushed the background (Powder Blue). I used my Promarkers in the usual way to colour the image, and you can see the brush strokes. I added Polar white Flowersoft for the fluffy fur on the stocking to give it a bit more depth.

Card No 2: Airbrushed everything
And after a while I got more into it, I thought I'd try going for it and airbrushing all of it!
I thought the stamp screamed "Baby's first Christmas to me... but it's so cute, how could you not want it for your Christmas cards?!

So, do you have a favourite, how did I do, what could I do better? All comments greatly accepted.

If you are anywhere near Jays Crafts this Saturday 18th September 2010. I will be demo'ing from 10am until 12pm, the Letrajet Airbrush Marker kit with a selection of Milton rubber stamps and paper sets. It's completely free, so please come along and join me, it'll be fun!
For more information, call Julia on 01908 565578.

Thank you for stopping by today, more projects to come, so please pop back again.

  1. Brilliant Lynne! I know airbrushing takes some practise and the second card looks absolutely great! Of course, they're both great but the colouring on the bear particularly is lovely on the second card. Keep it up!
