I have been so quiet for far too long, longer than I anticipated but I am doing my best to get back to blogging, and also crafting again so please bear with me.... I've been suffering badly with anxiety and panic attacks and it's been playing havoc with my life if I'm honest. I've found that my mind couldn't focus on anything much at all, especially not sitting down at my craft space and creating, and this is so sad as it's a huge passion of mine. I have however managed to continue to crochet as for me I don't have to think too much when creating blankets or small teddy bears as my mind goes into "auto pilot". Does anyone else know what I mean? I am glad to say that I am slowly on the mend and have techniques and support to help me get back up and able to get back to enjoying and living my life again. NEVER will I take things or the people around me for granted.
Anyway, thats the short and boring background behind my silence, so here is one of the cards I've recently made using a brand NEW set called "A Good Man" and I absolutely loved making it and found the colouring in part with the blend markers so therapeutic!
I wanted to make this card in sepia, so I used a mixture of browns and a few greys to get this effect. I used the "Stitched Nested Labels Die" to make the sentiment layers, and when I cut off the left hand side of the layer I added it under the right side layer to emphasise the sentiment, like an arrow, neat huh?!

Beautiful card. Been trying to color this image and haven't succeeded in getting it to where I like it. This is it, just need to figure out how you did it!

So many people can't and don't share mental health things, but so many people suffer (myself included; I had to check myself into a hospital program last year). Glad you got some help and are crafting again. SU is an important part of my mental wellness!!
