Card made using Stampin' Up! "Strength & Prayers" stamp set

Welcome back, and today I want to share with you the final card made at my July card class using the Stampin' Up! Notecards. Come and see....
We used the "Strength & Prayers" stamp for this card and stamped the sentiment first and then the dove image. The ink used is Rose Red, and I felt the card looked to stark, so I inked up just the tip of the wings in the ink pad and stamped around the edges, the ladies loved this one.
The card was a simple version of the one above and I used the ribbon on the new in-colour called Sweet Sugarplum which is quickly becoming one of my favourites! I also added a tinge of Perfect Plum to the edges of the stamp before placing in on the notecard, it gave it a two-tone effect.
Here you can see the two versions side by side, both simple yet effective, I am sure anyone would be glad to receive one of these cards.
And here are the three cards at the end of my card class. I always ask which is their favourite and often they all agree on the same card, but this time they couldn't decide, they had learnt new techniques on each card so they loved them all.
We do have fun at card class, it's for all levels of crafters so anyone can join in and enjoy.

Thanks for stopping by,
Luv Lynne
