Card made using Stampin' Up! "Love you lots" stamp set

Hello again lovely blog friends! It's Friday... and I'm back to share with you the second of the "quick and simple" cards we made at my July card class.

The cards I usually make are very clean and simple with a few layers, but this card is made using the Whisper White notecards and envelopes which are slightly smaller that the C5 card blanks I usually use. You can see from the picture below what difference there is in size, it's not much but sometimes the images fit better on the notecard without having to fill any of the white bits in, especially if it's a one layer card.

We used the "Love you lots" Hostess stamp set, and you can only get your hands on this beauty by either placing a £150 order with me or inviting your friends round to yours for a Stampin' Up! party with me and if your sales are more than £150 you can get this set with your crafty rewards! Or become a demonstrator like me and join my team... so you see, there are many options for you to own this set!

We stamped the image using Momento black ink and then the sentiment, which is called "Layering Love". I chose this particular sentiment because it mentions something so small, and that went perfectly with the tiny little mouse, don't you think?

To colour the elephant and mouse we used the aqua painter and Smoky Slate, Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake. It doesn't have to be coloured in perfectly and it really doesn't take very long to do - honest!

You can find the sentiment stamp set "Layering Love on page 71 of the Annual catalogue and the Hostess set "Love you lots" on page 199.

I hope you are enjoying seeing what we have been making at class, please do leave me a comment as I'd love to know your thoughts... (and also, the comments mean I know I'm not writing these posts just to myself!!)

I will share the third and final card on Sunday, so I hope you can come back again then.

Thanks for stopping by,
Luv Lynne
