VIP Day at Stampin' Up! UK Office - Cards for Keeps Auction Day

Oh my word, what an amazing day I had on Friday 13th May! It all started by me entering a handmade card into the Coram "Cards For Keeps" competition that Stampin' UP! were holding. I really didn't think it would come anywhere but I entered it anyway.

A few weeks ago Kelly from Stampin' UP! UK called me to say my card had been chosen as a runner up, I was amazed! Here is my card:

So, on Friday I made my way to High Wycombe to attend the VIP day where the winner and runners up would be watching the final few hours left on the E-bay auction. Top Celebrities had made cards and these were being auctioned off and it was very exciting! All money raised would go to Coram, a children's charity, and the final amount raised was an amazing £5,184.45 which we were told would change 5 children's lives, how awesome is that?!!
As you can see we all had so much fun.

We even spoke to the Frankfurt office and said hello to Charlotte, Axel and also to our outstanding Demonstrator Support Team (Chris and Andre) who look after us so well in helping us to help our awesome Customers!

We got to do a little bit of crafting whilst we got to know each other, and it was fun!
Fank Manou even made an appearance - he is the Stampin' Up! Mascot who goes to all events and I believe he is going on the Mediterranean Cruise next week - he's so lucky!
The Mayor of High Wycombe Councillor Mohammed Hanif joined us too. Such a lovely man and a great sport too!
And this is Michael from Coram, the Children's charity accepting the cheque, he was amazed at how much had been raised and said that this would change 5 Children's lives.

I want to say a HUGE thank you to Stampin' UP! UK for inviting us to such an amazing day and to everyone who took part in bidding on E-bay, you really have made such a difference.

Anyway, that's all from me today, back soon with the video of how I paper-folded the Kimono on my winning card.

Thanks for stopping by today,
Luv Lynne
