Stampin' Up! fabric noticeboard workshop....

Hello and welcome lovely blog friends and followers!! So, how are you today? I am running around like a headless chicken at the moment, trying to fit everything in before Christmas.... I hope to have everything purchased and wrapped by the weekend, then I can relax and start to enjoy the build up, even though I am working until Christmas Eve.

Anyway, I want to share with you a class I held back in September to make noticeboards using the gorgeous Stampin' Up! fabric. Each lady got to choose their favourite fabric, ribbon and brads/button for their noticeboards.
This is my one I made earlier this year from the Timeless Portrait fabric, black satin ribbon and antique brads, and mine is in use all the time!!!!
This picture shows the three boards covered with fabric, and sadly these fabrics are now not in the current catalogue but they were when they were made.
This picture shows them deep in concentration adding the ribbon.
And another picture showing their progress... don't they look great!
This is one of the three finished boards - so bright, cheery and very practical.
This is the second board with lots of Crochet trim squares making plenty of slots to use.
And this is the third board with less crochet trim squares... so you see, even though two ladies had the same products to start with, they have created each board unique to their own taste. What do you think, do you like them, have I inspired you to make your own?

I really loved seeing all of them come to life and project each of the creators personality  and I know the ladies had a great day making something very practical, useful and matches their home décor.
All products used are Stampin' Up!. We really are so lucky that Stampin' Up! now do such a lovely range of fabrics.... so why not take a look at the fabric range on pages 170 - 171 in the current annual catalogue, and if you'd like me to place an order any items, let me know by email usng: lynne.fahey@gmail.com or on 07828 149666, I'd love to hear from you.
Right, I must get back to my Christmas preparations, have a great night and please stop by again to see what cards have been made at my monthly card classes...

  6. Hi Carolyn, glad you like the boards. In answer to your question, they are buttons from Stampin' up, hot glue gunned to the ribbon.
Have a great day and thank you for "pinning",
