Bright Blossoms...

Hello again lovely blog friends, thank you for coming back to see what I have been up to! So, last Saturday I attended a Stampin' Up! "My Way" regional training event in Reading for Demonstrators only.

We learnt lots of things that are happening now and in the up an coming months - it's going to be so exciting and there are great opportunities for new recruits, as the Starter kit has been reduced in price to £99 and it's totally customisable!!! wow! and if you join during May, you get to go to Mainz, Germany Convention for FREE!!! so if you are thinking about joining Stampin' Up!, now is a great time for you! If you'd like more information, please let me know....

As demo's, we make a card front and replicate it (as many as we can make or have time/stock to make) to give away and "Swap" with other demo's so we get to see how others have used stamp sets and accessories that maybe we hadn't thought of.... it's a great way of learning more techniques and meeting wonderful talented, funny, and crafty people! Here is my "Swap"....

Stampin' Up! Supplies used:
Stamp - Bright Blossoms (Summer Mini)
Sentiment - Tiny Tags
Card Stock - Real Red, Whisper White
Ink - Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzlebury
Punches - 3/4" circle, Jewelry Tag

We we also asked to make our own name badge, and this is what I came up with.
As my team is called "Pink Owls" I decided I'd use my mascot that I make for my new recruits, which is made using the Pillow Box Die and Stampin' Up! punches and turn her into a Business card holder - it proved to be a hit and I was able to mingle easily and hand out my cards without delving into my bag!! clever huh? sometimes I have good ideas....
She got a bit bashed around the ears by the end of the day, but she did me proud!

I have had a really busy week, so I hope to be able to catch up over this extended Bank Holiday weekend to craft and play with all the lovely new Summer Mini Catalogue goodies arriving today! So, please do come back next week and see what I managed to make...

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon!
