Zero calorie Cupcake!!

Good morning lovely bloggers! So, what do you think to a zero calorie cupcake?? If only, eh!
I went to a crafting Re-Treat weekend back in April this year and we were shown how to make a cupcake at one of the classes. I loved it so much I made another one at the weekend.... I think these make wonderful trinket/jewellery boxes, money boxes, or even gorgeous bright coloured ornaments on any shelf or mantle piece.

Stampin' Up supplies used:
Paper - Sweet & Sour DSP 12x12"
Cardstock - Very Vanilla
Flower - Fancy flower extra large punch
Buttons - Bright collection
Tag - Jewelry tag medium punch
Scallop -  Scallop border punch
Sentiment - Tiny tag stamp set
Bow - Linen thread
Icing - Crystal effects,Pink,white reinkers

Hope you like it and that it's inspired you to have a go too.

It really is very simple, therapeutic and the outcome is so stunning.

Here is a close-up of the flower on the top of the cupcake, and the picture below is how it looks when it's open. I love that you can still see the pattern through the glass of the double sided paper.

If you have any questions about today's project or you'd like to place an order or book a workshop, contact me on 07828 149666 or email lynne.fahey@gmail.com

Happy crafting and see you again soon!

  6. Hi Lynne ... just look at that icing drooling over the cupcake ... OMG I thought it was real at first! If I had more of them in my cake tin than the real ones ... gosh wouldn't I be slim!?! Luv Linda -x-

  7. Hi Nicole and Linda,
Great aren't they... The icing was made using crystal effects and re-inkers, then drizzled over the top.

I can't say how lovely it is to get so many comments on my recent postings, thank you everyone!
