Frosted Snowman...... with hand made brads!

I have finally got around to experimenting  with the cosmic shimmer white glue.... it is awesome for making faux brads and pearl accents! Here are just a few I prepared on a sheet of wax paper. If you use U-mount, it's the paper protecting the padding and you get a front and back, that if like me, you usually discard (but I won't be doing that from now on!)

They are so easy to make. (If you look closely, I made a few "special shapes" but it was my first attempt!) I left the sheet to dry overnight and made them in assorted sizes. Sue Wilson showed us how to do these and I just love them!

Here is my first Christmas card I have made this year, and I put a few tiny white "glue brads" on it. I think they help to balance the empty space, what do you think?

I stamped this with the Creative Expressions "Snowmen" set
(I just love this set)
Inked with Tim Holtz distress inks "Faded Jeans"
Stickles glitter glue "Frosted Lace" and "Icicle"
Sentiment from Stampin' Up! set called "Contempo Christmas"

Thanks for stopping by, and let me know what you think...

  3. I have done a similar thing, but with glossy accents. Did a christmas tree then sprinled with glitter and left to dry, looked very effective. Lovely to see you yesterday.
