Stay nice and cozy..... new home cards

This is my very first "Scheduled" post.... I hope it works *fingers crossed* But if you are reading this now, it has worked!
I found this wonderful stamp at a friends shop called Jay's Crafts She has such a wide range of gorgeous and up-to-date stamps, and for a crafter who wants everything... there are just sooo many to choose from!!
This one is by Polka doodles and it's called "Town House". I thought it would make a great New Home card. Here are two cards I made as samples for Julia to display in her "Aladdin's Cave" of a shop ;) Why not check her shop out or order online here...

And here is the second one... I love them both. I wanted one as the packaging showed it (the pink/blue one) and the other one to be fairly traditional (the one below). Which do you like best?? I'd love to know...

I used my ProMarkers on both, but the second card had Tim Holt's distress inks added too for the background. The Pink card's ribbon and oblong backing card started off as white and I used my lime green promarker to colour it so it all matched. How cool is that...

I hope you are enjoying my more frequent postings... and thank you so much to all of you for leaving me comments, especially now I can receive them! Oh the joys of modern technology!

Thank you for popping by today,
Luv Lynne

  2. Hello Carol... firstly, a belated happy birthday for last week.. sorry, I didn't know.
Secondly, you are getting to know my "style"! and thirdly, yes, Jay's crafts shop is in MK on Crownhill industry. Click on the red highlight link on this post to see her address and online shop. You and the girls would love shopping there, and the prices are way lower than Hobbycraft!! IMHO. You'll be able to buy Promarkers there individually or in sets and at the best price I've seen. Try it out, and let me know how you get on.
    Hugs and see you soon,
    Luv Lynney
