You Quack Me Up!

What a day.... woke up very early on my day off, so decided to grab a cuppa and take it back to bed and read my book for a while. Well, nearly 2 hours later I decided I should get up and do something productive.... so I decided to sort out my very bijou kitchen. It's amazing how much you hoard and put things to the back of cupboards and shelves that you forgot you had. Well, today I found it all.... I put unstackable things into clear plastic containers in order to stack them up and save space, plus I got out my Dymo label maker, yes, I know that's very sad, but I like tidiness and order, I can't help it. It all looks great now, and I have a HUGE sense of achievement :)

Anyway, back to the card for today.... I saw this Penny Black Stamp a while back and had to have it. I shaded it with my Promarkers, which I am still trying to get used to using. I have even booked myself onto a workshop locally to learn how to use Promarkers, I'm really excited about that, and I hope I change my feelings towards them afterward.

I made the sentiment on my computer and then accented it with 3d glaze. I also thought the card edge was a little to blank, so I used my black fine liner pen to do the dots and dashes, and I really like the effect. It's such a quack quick and simple card to make... what do you think?
