Mr & Mrs

Lately, I have been very busy crafting, and I have made some lovely cards but I just haven't got around to uploading onto here. So, I apologise for the lack of postings... but I really didn't think anyone was following me anymore due to the lack of comments that were being left. BUT, this week, I got gently "nudged" on Facebook to get posting again... so here it is. Please, please, let me know you're popping by, by leaving a comment, it really means a lot. I will do my best to keep it going, if not, nudge me again!

So, a few weeks a go some friends and I went to Ally Pally to the wonderful crafting show. We had a fantastic day, I fell in love with so many stamps, but this one was instantly love at first sight, and I had to get it!

It's Lily of the Valley, and if I am not mistaken, exclusive to the show and not available online at that time.

Anyone who knows me knows that Tim Holtz distress inks is my preferred way of colouring in my images, but I through caution to the wind and did a HUGE leap of faith and used my Promarkers for the very first time. I must admit, I really don't feel comfortable using them, but I guess it's just practice and confidence?? 

I do like how it turned out, and I accented his hat and shoe, and her flowers and dress with 3d glaze.

Any Bride and Groom would love a card like this, wouldn't they?!

So, me being me, I wanted to see what it would look like with Distress inks... so here it is... what do you think, which do you prefer?

I love them both for different reasons, but I enjoyed the distress inks more as they are like my safety blanket... it feels safe and warm and cozy, whereas with Promarkers I am totally out of my comfort zone!
