Silent night....
I wanted to make a Christmas card a little bit different this year, and here is my attempt. I went along to a workshop a few weekends ago and this is one of the stamp sets we used. I had already brought the set months before but hadn't got around to using it, so I was more than a little excited! Plus, we were being taught by one of TV's greatest crafters.... Sheena Douglass !!! how lucky was I?! We all had such a laugh and a great time learning from Sheena and her wealth of experience and knowledge. We even managed to make 2 wonderful cards. I loved that day so much and Sheena's style is so me, so if you just happen to be reading my blog Sheena, thank you!
I coloured the background paper with Tim Holtz distress ink called Broken China. Stamped using Create-a-scene called Church. Accented with a white pen, and outer edges sponged with Black soot ink.
I like this card, I think it could suit people who aren't that religious, or who don't really celebrate Christmas in a big way.. what do you think?
Thank you for stopping by, and as always, I would treasure any comments you'd like to leave.
Luv Lynne
