Gorjuss Girl - Thank you card
I have had a busy old week, but I was lucky enough to have been invited to a Stampin' Up! open house day last Thursday. I have loved the SU products from a far for a long while, but haven't had a chance to actually play with their stamps and punches.... until now! I had a go at the "make and take" projects, which made me very very happy and came away with a gift box and a tag book card that I'd made. There are so many great stamps etc, that I can't make up my mind what to buy first! Thank you once again to Michelle, the SU demonstrator who held the open house day, I really enjoyed myself and I met some wonderful ladies.
So, after having my creativeness ignited, I made this card. I really like how it turned out, so much so, that I am going to pop it in the post to Michelle as a little thank you from me. ( I hope she likes it too!)
I used the following materials to make this:
Stamp - Gorjuss girl stamp set
Sentiment stamp - DeNami Design "Thank you"
Paper and flower - K&Company 12x12 Peabody scrap pad
Ribbon - Stamping up ~ Old Olive (I think, or could be "Certainly Celery")
Coloured in using Tim Holtz Distress Inks:
Hair - Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy
Hair highlights - Sakura Gelly Roll gold pen
Flowers - Mustard Seed
Paper Flower Centre - Bronze Crop-o-dile eyelet
Skin - Tattered Rose
Dress - Peeled Paint and Mustard Seed
Stockings - Black Soot
Hair Accented with 3d glaze.
Thank you for stopping by, please feel free to leave a comment.
Luv Lynne

You are so sweet and I LOVE this card! It's green too, you know me so well. I adore how you glossed her hair and the card is in pride of place in my lounge for all to see. Glad you came along to the Open House and hope to catch up again soon. xxx
